Valentines Day! The Switch Video Release Party! Burlesque!
I really loved everyone sharing with me for the last entry I made. To those of you who posted or wrote - thank you for sharing your heart with me. It's good to put your dreams out there - here's to hoping each and every one of you have them come true!

Oh, yes...wanna spend Valentine's Day with me? A trip through the 20th century and beyond with scorching live music, silent film, blazing burlesque, hot dance and performance art to make you swoon. Plus: human statues, fire performers, hoopers, oh my. Dust off your sequins: costume theme is "vintage glamour."

My Sister, Kai and Her Band, The Switch - Video Release Party at Rated X!
My beautiful, beautiful sister, Kai and her band, The Switch will be celebrating their video premiere party at Michael T's Rated X party. So come out and see this fabulous jaw-dropping video by director Zina Brown and see the Switch live! This is a HUGE DEAL for us. You don't want to miss this.
I will be debuting my Isis number at 11:00pm - which means get your ass on line at 10:45 AND say "Riss" at the door to get in HALF-PRICE!

Hotsy Totsy Burlesque!
Come out and join me for my debut at Hotsy Totsy Burlesque. This show will feature: Cherry Pitz, Johnny Angel, Plum Manchego, Fem Appeal, The White Boom Boom, Runaround Sue, Rubie Fizz, Lady Lucerne and ME! In one show! I don't know if you'll make it through all of it, you might just pass out from the hotness. I'm very excited for this - and well, I love Joe the Shark - and he's a part of this craziness. So don't miss it!

My Ultimate Dream of My Life

By the time the 2 minutes and 57 seconds are up, you will know my heart.
Revolver is a project that Burke and I wrote together and shot the trailer for to give people an idea of what we could do, what the movie would be like and to allow the viewer to actually step into our world.
Sometimes it's scary to put things out there that you love so much, that you put your whole heart into - but here it is. Dear Reader, whoever you are reading these words, if I had one thing in my lifetime that I could do, this would be it. This is the ultimate dream of my lifetime.
It's been a long process, it takes awhile for things to take shape and sail on their own. But I have a really good deep down inside feeling about this year. I don't want to mess around and waste time. I want this to happen. Now.
I always share my heart with you when I write here. You know me. I give you the good and the bad. I want to tell you something....it's important to me that you know it (even if I don't know you and we'll never meet, and you never comment, but just read - I want you to read these words and know this)....
My Intention for the Year:
I want Revolver to be fully financed by December 2008 to be shot in Spring of 2009.
And not only that, I want it to be fully financed by people who truly believe in it. I want teammates. I want a circle of solid kickass people to get together and do this thing together and make history. Where are you? I know you're out there. I know it's only a matter of time before you read these words. I'm putting the call out.
My future partners and faithful crew....Are you ready for the adventure of your lifetime? I have never in my life been more ready. And there is a reason for everything....and a reason that this is the year. Because I know you're ready, too.
Everything happens in the right time. And our time is now.
Let's go.
Now....tell me your intention for the year. Email me. Just say it in a sentence. It can be big or little, but share something of your heart. It's scary and it's liberating. You never know, maybe someone will read it that can help you, or maybe I can help you, or maybe we can help each other.
Screw going at it alone. The adventure was made for others to join in and help build it - help add their special talents and contributions that wouldn't have been there otherwise. I believe in community and I believe in supporting each other.
Okay, now it's your turn. Tell me your dream for this year. Tell me something that you want to get out there to the world.

Come Dance the Burlesque with Me....
In just four nights, on the very night the moon enters her new phase....
I will be teaching burlesque for the first time at The Learning Annex in New York City.
Teaching this class is something that I have dreamed of doing for awhile, and when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at it. I said yes to the date of Wednesday, February 6th back in November, not realizing that the date landed on the new moon. A very lucky lucky day indeed.
February's new moon is all about "breaking out of the box" and freeing yourself from old rules and boundaries. Therefore, creating a new wonderful way of thinking....
And with that - I would be absolutely honored if you would join me (as I'm breaking out of a box myself and would love to meet you in person!) - as I am teaching my very first Learning Annex class on Wednesday, February 6th from 6:45pm-9:30pm.
I guarantee that my class will be a wonderful, empowering, fun and sultry evening for us girls to get together and learn a few new tricks, learn something new about ourselves, and add that touch of magic into our everyday lives.
And don't be shy, the most outlandish thing I'll have you do is show a little bit of elbow after pulling off a long satin opera length glove. All ages, shapes and sizes very very welcome!
