Miss Yvonne Danger + Important Voting!
I've known Yvonne for about a year now...and all I can say, is I know she's strong, beautiful, and dedicated as hell to the things she loves. This girl's got FIGHT! She's wearing the sassy China Girl Keyhole Top and there's only two left - one small, one large...so get 'em while they are HOT (as shown by our darling Miss Yvonne.)
I'm proud to have her as a Danger Girl...so without further ado...introducing Miss Yvonne Danger from Germany....

"I'm from Germany, where I lived my whole life, except for 15 more or less exciting months I spent in New Zealand which is a very beautiful place. You can find all sorts of landscapes there on only two islands. The town i live in here in Germany is kinda small and I often draw attention on me, with my pink hair and my "unusual" clothing.
I like being creative in all sorts of ways. I mostly like pretty clothes, especially by Lip Service. I also love Pinups and the whole rockabilly-/rock and roll-scene. I would love being a pinup but I'm too much of a punkrock
girl (always have been, always will be, I guess) to be so glamorous and pretty. I really like mixing glamour with punk-ish styles though. I'm probably tough on the outside and cute with a twist on the inside. ;)
I also haven't done any modelling yet, unlike many other danger girls. There were only a couple of sessions for my own use but I would love model if I
got the opportunity. My biggest dream is being a model in a Lip Service catalogue. ;) Hey, wonderful dreams keep you alive!!"

Yvonne Danger, it's a dream to have you here!
And speaking of dreams coming true...a friend of mine in NYC, a talented and kick-ass girl - is in a major contest with her band...her name is Xenia and her band is Sky Salt. PLEASE vote for them here.
Today is the LAST day to vote. She is a really cool person and driven and amazing and talented. And seeing people reach their dreams is the best thing in the world. So pretty please with sugar on top, vote for them.
Have a wonderful weekend....

Danger Girl Miss Tina...
I'm proud to announce this week's Danger Girl, Sweet Miss Tina from North Carolina. WOW! She definitely knows how to make the Ring A Ding Doll Dress Red HOT!

"I’m originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but
currently living in North Carolina because my husband
is in the United States Air Force. I enjoy modeling,
but my real passion is in acting. Ever since before I
can remember I’ve always admired the world of make
believe. I love the unforgettable women from the 50’s
such as Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Natalie Wood, and
Brigitte Bardot. They always brought magic to the
silver screen and became legend before their time.
Another one of my passions is poetry. I never thought
of myself as a poet until three years ago when I put
words together expressing my emotions on a piece of
paper. I get my inspiration from love, music, and from
life itself. Words come to me as a storm comes on a
clear, sunny day. I never know what to expect or when.
I take what comes and just enjoy every minute of life
and try to make the most of everything."
Talented, sweet and gorgeous! Another Danger Girl takin' on the world! Go get em', Tina!

Danger Girl Miss Tifa!
You know what day it is...introducing our new Danger Girl...making your Friday that much nicer....

Featuring the gorgeous and irresistable Tifa from Sweden modeling her
Pretty Miss 50s Dress from my lil' boutique Danger Dame! Tifa and I have been friends for about a year now, and she is one of the sweetest dames I've ever met.
Here's a little bio on our Danger Girl, in her own words:
"I'm a swedish pinup girl, haven't met any other ones from here yet so we must be really rare :) I've loved pinups a long time, Bettie Page being the one who got my attention. I came in contact with today's pinups when finding Bernie Dexter and then realized that pinup was BIG especially in the US, so I found fellow pinup gals who inspired me and started taking my own pictures.
In May this year I tried to work with a photographer and loved it! And since then I'm doing pinup shoots about 2-4 times a month and always have a great time. I really owe alot to my fellow pinups out there, for inspiring me and supporting me.
And Veronica, two of my most wonderful outfits come from you, thank you ever so much for DangerDame.com! You are such an amazing person and such a enchanting vixen!"
Back at cha, Sugar! ♥

Danger Girl Friday! Miss Alleyne!
Hey...it's Friday...which means...a new Danger Girl! Featuring Miss Alleyne from New Mexico with photos from Rick Lujan of Pulp Photography Studios!
Miss Alleyne is sassy in retro red in her Ring A Ding Doll Dress!

Here's a little bio on our girl: Alleyne has been modeling for 4 years now, starting as a fitness model. She recently ventured out into vintage and glamour modeling, just for fun. Finished with her Masters degree in Social Psychology at the University of New Mexico, she will be moving to Los Angeles to work on her PhD in Clinical/Social Psychology. She recently worked with Pulp Photography Studios and found a new passion for vintage photography and clothing (thank you, Rick Lujan!). “I am always willing to venture out and just have fun! Thank you for the pick as a Danger Girl and thank you Veronica for the great look!”.

Good luck with your move to LA and I look forward to seeing more pin-ups of you, Alleyne!

Why Dontcha Come Up and See Me Sometime?

Thought I'd share...a new photo from Burke Heffner
and....
I just found out that I will be singing at the 1930's French lounge, Rue B this evening.
Yes. That means tonight. As in Wednesday, August 3rd. As in 10pm. Drag your darling self over to 188 Avenue B between 11th and 12th in the East Village.
I promise to drape myself over their Steinway piano and channel Jessica Rabbit. Yes, I promise to break your heart in a million pieces as I sing in English and in bad French.
I will make you feel like you've stepped into your own black and white film noir. And well, you don't wanna get mixed up with a girl like me, Fella. And besides...there's alcohol there...so the more you drink, the better I sound.
Here's lookin' at you, Kid.
