A Nation of Millions Couldn't Hold Us Back
Danny Lugosi from A Hollow Grave wrote a song about my character Blue for
Revolver!!!

I can tell you that the lyrics he sent me are amazing (and made me scream outloud) and the second the recording happens, I will post it on this site. The fact that Danny worked on a song for Revolver means so much to me. I've just been really thankful for all the support I've received from creative people that I I am in utter awe over...and the fact that they believe in my project, too.
Not only did Danny write this song, he also gave me the coding so I can run my little ol' film trailer all over the internet...and since then, I've gotten emails from near and far that are really encouraging. Danny's also a screenwriter, working on a project called Dancing on The Grave of Rock and Roll, which I know is going to be a heartbreaking smash.
With all of us banding together, we can't lose. Our army will be so strong, we could never be ignored.
Thanks to all of the people who have come into my life with spirit and guts and the willingness to lay themselves down on railroad tracks. I'd do the same for all of you... and you know who you are.
Thank you for all for lovin' me with your punk rock horror, runaway cross-country, bank-robbing, desperate creative hearts.....
♥ to the end.

The Wheels on the Matchbox Go Round and Round
The road whispers my name again...you know you wanna come along...
This is me being psychotic in front of the Massachusetts sign...I have a thing about being photographed in front of every state sign that I've roadtripped through. I have a collection of about 25 different state signs across the US at this point. Although I had been through Massachusetts before on a Greyhound, I didn't get the damn road sign picture.
You try tellin' a Greyhound bus driver he's gotta pull over so you can get a picture in front of the sign. I imagine passengers have been backed over by Greyhound bus drivers by making that exact request in the past.

It was snowing when I took this. The roads were icy...everyone on the road was doing nine million miles an hour...the sign came up out of nowhere and I immediately careened to the side. I ran out in the snow and grabbed the camera...half of Massachusetts was beeping at me when this picture was taken.
I have to say...I've never driven six hours by myself on a roadtrip before...and I was kind of nervous about it. But after doing it, I HIGHLY recommend it. I wrote about nine different screenplays in my head, I sang at the top of my lungs, I enjoyed the scenery, I waved happily at fellow drivers for no reason, I was just kind of thrilled to be alive and adventuring on my own on a beautiful crisp day.
All to see these two....

My nephew, Simon Jupiter and my brother, Ryan ♥ ♥ ♥
and to see my brother's band play...

All I can say is that I was blown away by how amazing they were. They packed the place full with over 300 people there. There was no room on the dance floor and when they were closing down the place, the crowd started freaking out stomping their feet and screaming for another song. The owner let them play one more song even though it was past closing time because she thought there was going to be a riot.
That's my brother!

After meeting a bunch of really amazing people, having great conversations and dancing my ass off all night long...my brother and I talked until the sun came up.
He even let me borrow his toothbrush and didn't think twice about it. Now that's love.

We decided for some reason that it would be really funny if we closed opposite eyes to wink.
We were sleep deprived. Please forgive us.
The morning came and I finally got to see my little Simon Jupiter!!!!!

This is a picture of us making wishes together. We kept whispering in each other's ears what we wished for and one of his wishes was that when his daddy's house was sold, he wished he could come live with his Aunt Bunny (that's me...) awwwwwwwwww.
He made me this... "A portrait of Aunt Bunny"....

and I made him this....

Simon Jupiter loves to draw and paint. My brother recently got one of Simon's first drawings tattooed on his arm. You can turn it around to make out different images...

It's a bird...... It's a plane......

It's a shark....... It's a rocket......
Simon J shows his Aunt Bunny around. He is holding MY hand, mind you, not the other way around...he was concerned I might get lost seeming as how I'd never been to Maine before.
Kids dig me because I look like a pink muppet.

Then we hit the children's museum where he dressed up as an owl...

and as an astronaut..the commander is the two year old in the orange.

I told Simon that I was taking the pictures so that I could put it up in my journal and everybody all over the world who came to my site could see them.
He insisted on taking a picture for all of you.
Simon took this picture of an orange hamster thing and was very excited about sharing his message of a happy orange hamster thing with the whole entire world...
ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, WORLD....love, Simon Jupiter....

My heart is all silly happy right now.

Sassy Betsey J!

I've got a golden ticket....
thanks to my friend, Jen, who I need to seriously smother with kisses...Jen...if you're reading this...I ♥ you...forever!)
I have been obsessed with Betsey Johnson for forever. The very first designer anything I ever bought was a long red crushed velvet Betsey Johnson dress (which the store owner was sweet enough to let me keep on layaway for two months - because well, I lived in Florida at the time...and most people in Florida are not shopping for crushed red velvet long dresses in 80 degree weather).
I wore that dress everywhere. I wore it the opening night at the Lyric Theater (the old silent movie house I used to work at) when they revamped the entire theater and would be showing movies there for the first time in fifty years. I was the projectionist...sitting in a little teeny box with a huge projector next to me...no one could see me but I didn't care. That Betsey Johnson dress was pure old Hollywood glamour to me...and I woulda worn it in the gutter and felt like a million bucks.
Since I've been living in NYC, it's been a dream of mine to go see a show of hers. But of course, they are practically impossible to get into. Until yesterday that is....

The crews getting ready for the doors to open...I was one of the first people on line.
The show was beautiful...there was a plaid suit that was to die for that was my favorite hands down. Carmen Electra was there and kept trying to make out with me...but I was like, "Carmen, PLEASE, I'm trying to watch the show here."

That's Carmen to the left of the camera light, and okay, she was three rows in front of me, and to my dismay, was not interested in making out with me at all.
By far the best part of the show was seeing Betsey come down the runway at the end. This woman is going to be 63 years old this year and she comes barreling down the runway like a 16 year old and launches into her trademark cartwheel.
She is one of my idols...because she really doesn't give a damn, she has lots of fun with life, and she's a strong, kick ass woman. To actually see her in person just made me ridiculously happy. And Betsey...if you ever read this...I love you more than life and if you ever started a roving girl gang...I would join in a second.
(This is the part where you have to imagine scrolling through picture after picture of the catwalk because my stupid battery died after the Carmen picture).
After the show, I got my 15 minutes of gutter girl fame when a camera crew came up to me to interview me about what I was wearing...and then about ten other camera crews and photographers, not knowing who the hell I was, but thinking maybe they were missing out...came running over, too. At one point, there was a circle of them around me and it was pretty funny.

This is a photo that one of the press photographers, Alan Meer, took of me. This picture cracks me up because I can tell I'm beaming inside and trying my best to hold it together and not seem like a total freak.
I'm really happy I got a chance to see one of Betsey's shows finally! Thanks so much, Jen.....
This is yet one more reason I love this city so much...you never know what's going to happen. Life can be really amazing sometimes - I finally got to see one of my idols and got a free pair of really hot Betsey Johnson panties in the gift bag. What more could I want?
The me from years ago scrounging up lunch money for two months to get one of her dresses woulda been proud.

Blonde Ambition

Me, as a blonde girl from the 1920s, caught daydreaming between shots by my friend, Anna.
I want to tell you the whole story. I want to grab you by the shoulders and jump up and down and then whisper everything into your ear.
But I have to wait for a little while until everything goes through. Until all the pieces are in place and then I can tell you the secret. Just cross your fingers for me...because if everything works out right...it could be a really big deal.
I can tell you that it's a project that I got a chance to work on with one of my favorite partners in crime...Miss Anna...♥ ♥ ♥

and that I stole all these pictures that she took from her journal because I can't show you the real pics yet.
Just know...that it was a day filled with sunshine streaking through the windows, plastic orange guns hidden in drawers, chocolate chip cookies used as bribery, lying through our teeth to get permission to shoot in insanely off access areas, and was topped off by my "drowning" in a pool built in 1923.
What did I tell you before...? That I wasn't happy unless I was doing something that might possibly land me in prison for years...?
All I've got to say is that I have never been more amazed at Anna's random talent of being able to piece together outfits on a moment's notice that were completely 1920s style. She is THE woman when it comes that era. End of story. Between the two of us, we have the first half of the 1900s covered.

Since doing this project on Thursday, I've been in a really good mood. Tonight, I took the Matchbox out and rolled down the windows as I drove. It's actually a warm-ish night for February, and the city is beautiful and alive tonight. I listened to Iggy Pop and just watched the city go by. The hula girl on the dash board waved appreciatively at the fresh breeze through the open windows.
My skin stung with goosebumps...
Right now, I have a fire in my soul just being alive on a night like this.
And I'm taking you with me in my mind.
"Oh, the passenger
He rides and he rides...
He sees things from under glass.
He looks through his window’s eye.
He sees the things he knows are his...
He sees the bright and hollow sky.
He sees the city asleep at night.
He sees the stars are out tonight.
And all of it is yours and mine
And all of it is yours and mine
Oh, let’s ride and ride and ride and ride..."

Ransom Notes and Valentines
You've no doubt been waiting for the ransom note on me because I haven't written in so long.
Since I've been back in NYC, I had a crazy 101 degree temperature, finished shooting a death defyingly insane film noir by Rob Neilson, was a check point judge in a massive cross-city shopping cart race, bribed city officials with chocolate chip cookies for permits and "drowned" yesterday in a city pool for a super secret photo shoot project. Yep, I'm not happy unless I'm doing something that's gonna have me thrown into prison for years on end. I'll share all those fun stories with you tomorrow...
In case you were wondering...yes. I am crazy. Mad as a hatter. But admit it, that's why you keep coming back for more.

This is one of the images that Danielle Bedics took of me when I was out in LA...and my dear friend, the fabulous Miss Anna, did all of the graphics for the card. So, I wanted to share it with all of you! This is what happens when three girls conspire...
OH...and by the way...I got more sizes in on the1940s Red Hot Ring a Ding Doll dress! And if you're lookin' for somethin' special for V-Day...you can order from Danger Dame up until Wednesday and I'll get it to ya by Valentine's Day.
Hell, I'll even wrap it up all pretty and write you a Valentine and put lipstick prints on the card.
Cause well, I'm that kinda dame.
Missed you.
